Bahrain even after being a small Arab monarchy, has been seeing a drastic change in its economy since 2006. It started investing in sectors like banking and tourism only in late 20th century and now if we look the statistics by London's Global Financial Centers Index of 2008, then we can notice that they have named Bahrain as the world's fastest growing financial center.
